Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimahan extended greetings and good wishes to the the people of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Holi festival. In a communiqu, the Governor said ‘Holi is a colourful and vibrant festival which strengthens fraternal bonds amongst the people and signifies peace and prosperity.
‘The festival is conducive to revitalizing relationships between young and the old among all sections and across all faiths and customs’, the Governor said.
Legends associated with Holi are symbolic of the power of truth and of good triumphing over the evil, Governor added. UNI
