The Central Government has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 250 crore to Andhra Pradesh for setting up Special Purpose Vechiicle for the Polavaram Irrigation Project.
In terms of Section 90 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, the Union Government has decided to support Andhra Pradesh for setting up of SPV for the Polavaram Irrigation Project and release Rs. 250 crore in this financial year, said a press release on Thursday. (INN)
