AP Diary: The political heirs of YSR

Hyderabad, April 23 (Khairullah Baig): The efforts are on to weaken the YSR family from everywhere, which had given a new identity to congress and Andhra Pradesh.

The person who had faced the by-elections of Kadappa and Pulivendla i.e. the former CM late YSR, but now, his son Jaganmohan Reddy and widow Vijayalaxmi are in the poll fray.

However, the efforts are on to make them unsuccessful in the elections and for this, not only on state level but also on central level, plans and strategies are being readied. The visit of the CM N Kiran Kumar Reddy to New Delhi is relevant to this effect where he is bound to get some political tips from the high command.

On the other hand, congress high command has realized before hand, that it is difficult to defeat son-mother duo in the elections. That is why, the high command has decided to run its campaign with the name of YSR and warned the other party members to refrain from targeting son-mother duo.

It is really a matter of concern that the oldest party of the political arena, has no other choice but to take the help of the name of YSR and his photograph to defeat the late leader’s own son and the widow. In this connection many candidates of the same name i.e. Jaganmohan Reddy and Vijayalaxmi are in the poll fray where the voters would get confused.

This shows that Congress has no firm ground on regional level. Muslims have also decided to vote for Jagan. In fact, the congress itself is responsible in creating this situation in the state.

After the death of YSR, instead of shielding the political storm, the party turned the storm into a rebellion. This is how the Congress is in trouble from everywhere in Andhra Pradesh. In recent times, Jagan has declared his assets worth Rs. 365 crores whereas the declaration made by him in 2009, estimated to Rs. 77 crores.

On the other hand, the question of conspiracy theory cannot be ignored, as it is existed globally but in Andhra Pradesh, this theory is likely to be used to make Telangana Movement unsuccessful.

Anyway, at present, the state is abuzz with political activities in connection with the by-elections due on May 8. Then the results will be declared and the fate of Telangana would also be decided.

This is how to create unanimity for the political leadership, a vast world trying its best and busy observing the achievements of the political dwarfs dancing around it.
