Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao held a meeting on Monday to discuss on organizing Protocol Services in all the districts in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Secretary has directed the officers concerned to take an immediate action to establish a Special Wing particularly for Protocol without involving the Revenue Department. Structure the Protocol wing quickly with the co-operation of District Collectors to design the staff pattern particularly for protocol by allocating separate head of account, he said.
“We may also adopt the Protocol System being maintained in States viz., Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal etc.,. Pressure on revenue officials may avoid by creating full-fledged protocol wing in all the Districts in the State,” the Chief Secretary opined.
General Administration Department Secretary M.K. Meena, Finance Secretary M. Ravichandra and Special Secretary to Govt. N.V. Ramana Reddy participated in the meeting. (INN)
