Hyderabad, October 07: The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today took exception to the suspended leader Ambati Rambabu’s remarks that the state Congress headquarters would turn into “a house of bats” if all supporters of Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy were removed from the party.
“Rambabu served as an MLA. He was state Congress General Secretary. Congress gave him so much recognition. Now, he says that Gandhi Bhavan would become a house of bats. We leave it to his wisdom,” APCC spokesperson G Tulasi Reddy said.
“He (Rambabu) claims that he is a supporter of Jagan and late Rajasekhara Reddy. It was Congress that made Rajasekhara Reddy PCC president at a very young age,” Reddy, flanked by another APCC spokesperson Kamalakar Rao, told reporters here.
