Kurnool, December 30: Stating that there was political crisis in the state, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) politburo member and Dhone MLA K E Krishna Murthy today predicted that it would come under president’s rule soon.
Speaking to mediapersons here, the MLA said the existing political uncertainty in the state will lead to imposition of president’s rule. Terming the fast by Telangana Congress MPs, who demanded lifting of cases on students who participated in Telangana agitation, as a big farce, Krishna Murthy faulted the government for wasting precious time in the Assembly on the issue. “The Congress government has no time to address problems of common man and farmers. Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has no idea about agriculture and it is for the same reason he is making statements insulting farmers who had ended their lives,” the TD MLA said.
And when TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu undertook an indefinite fast on farmers’ issues, the Congress leaders were worried about political mileage, he said.
