AP CM Wishes People On Deepavali

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu today extended Deepavali greetings to all the people in the State. The Chief Minister appealed to the people of affected districts not to burst crackers for this Diwali. “Let us light the lamps with confidence that we can overcome and rebuild these districts which were damaged in recent Hudhud cyclone,” he said.

“Deepavali – the festival of lights, is a symbol of prosperity. It inspires us towards the path of truth and popularizes the ideals of national unity and cohesion.

“The festival of lights gives us a hope to fight against all odds and rise above the obstacles in our path in order to move forward on the path of progress and prosperity,” Chandrababu said.

In the evening, the Chief Minister will be taking part in a candle-light rally on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam to show solidarity with people affected by Cyclone.
