AP CM launches Meekosam – Portal for Public Grievances

Looking for a platform to report your grievances to the government? Here’s a portal that will allow you to file grievances instantly.

www.meekosam.ap.gov.in, launched by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today, will be a platform where you can report about local problems, give suggestions and post related photographs/documents.

The portal will record your grievance through your Aadhar number. Using this, you can track the progress of your application. MeeKosam also gives you an option to classify your complaint.

Once your grievance has been registered, you will receive an acknowledgement via SMS/e-mail.

From the government’s end, the grievance will be registered, tracked and forwarded to the concerned department. If your grievance is not addressed within a certain time-frame, it will immediately be escalated to higher authorities.

You can track the status of your grievance online or call toll-free number 1100/1800-425-4440. A Call Center has been set up to register or find out your grievance application.

Meanwhile, speaking about e-Governance initiatives in the state, the Chief Minister set June 2015 as the deadline for drafting Action Plan for E-Governance.

IT Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy, IT Advisor J. Satyanarayana, Advisor (Communications) Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, IT&C Secretary Sreedhar, Principal Secretary to CM Satish Chandra and others were present. (INN)
