The CID of Rajahmundry Regional Crime Investigation Unit have arrested two persons involved in job racket at Banglaore today. The agency arrested the accused – JVK Dinesh Kumar and Caxton Christ Das at Bangalore who are involved in issuance of fake appointment orders to students at Engineering Colleges, Additional Director General of Police (CID), Mr SV Ramana Murhty said in a release here. A case was registered against the accused at Allavaram Police station in East Godavari district. Their modus operandi was to approach engineering colleges in rural and urban areas posing themselves as representatives of various companies like IBM, Elcon, Mphasis etc and in this process they cheated hundreds of students and usurped lakhs of rupees. In the present case, 426 students were cheated and over Rs 2.13 lakh was collected from them illegally, the release said. The accused ere also involved in criminal cases of similar modus operandi of fake appointments of students in Engineering Colleges located in Cyberabad Commissionerate in Hyderabad, Kakinada , East Godavari district and West Godavari. The duo was arrested by CID Team at Bangalore and being taken to Rajahmundry to be produced before the court concerned, the release added. UNI
