AP Cabinet talks on new CM: Mahender Reddy

In a startling comment, Telangana Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy today said that Andhra Pradesh Ministers in a Cabinet meeting discussed on the successor of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Talking to media persons here he said that since Naidu’s arrest was unavoidable in the scam, the cabinet ministers were involved in debate of who was their next chief minister. Afraid of the people and Centre who were in a belief that Chandrababu was involved in Revanth Reddy scam, Chandrababu was making a hue and cry and trying to create panic among people on law and order, Minister alleged.

Frequent insistence on section 8 in Hyderabad was of no use and Naidu cannot escape from the case, he said. As there was no other go but to get arrested Nadiu was indulging was provoking the people for personal benefit, he charged. Naidu made Revanth a scapegoat in the entire murky cash scam, he deplored.

He slammed AP Ministers P Pulla Rao, K Atchen Naidu and its police for stating that they will set up own police stations in Hyderabad. What work the AP Police has in Telangana, he asked. He also warned of dire consequences that they will ‘kick’ them out if indulge in useless talk in Hyderabad. (NSS)
