AP- C S Reviews Housing Programme

Housing Department is playing a major role in achieving double digit growth in 2015-16 and by the year 2022 everyone will have own house in Andhra Pradesh State, Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said. He reviewed today in detail on issues, progress of the works and the action plan to achieve Double Digit Growth in Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation.
Based on the Budget allocations, 56,435 houses are proposed to be constructed in the year 2015-16 in urban and rural areas. Measures have already been taken by the State Government for Housing Corporation to achieve the results with minimum expenditure.
Chief Secretary has issued instructions to the concerned that the total beneficiary data should be placed in the Housing website and made accessible by the public. The District Collectors are requested to co-ordinate with the Housing Corporation for its smooth functioning of the housing programme and any issues relating to housing programme raised by the Collectors be sorted out by the Department.
Officials of the Housing Corporation informed on the implementation of e-Office in all the District Offices by end of May 2015 and e-Office has already started in the Secretariat.
