Andhra Pradesh government convened a meeting with officers of various departments in connection with budget preparation. It is said that Andhra Pradesh government will convene a meeting of Minority Welfare Department officials on July 18. Sources say that Chandrababu Naidu wants to allocate minority welfare budget proportionate to minority population in Andhra Pradesh so that various schemes of educational and economic development of minorities could be implemented.
Telangana government has promised to allocate a budget of 1000 crore for Minority welfare hence Chandrababu Naidu is also in favour of allocating appropriate budget in Andhra Pradesh for minorities.
