YSR Congress Party deputy floor leader B Srikanth Reddy has alleged that the TDP Government has failed to discuss several issues of urgent public importance during the winter session which concluded on Tuesday.
Speaking to media persons at Assembly media point, Srikanth Reddy said that the State Government ended the Assembly session in a hurry. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was interested only in hearing the praises and therefore, he did not allow debates on issues where he feared he could be nailed by the opposition. He said a comprehensive debate was needed on the new capital. However, the Capital Region Development Authority Bill (CRDA) was passed in haste. Similarly, he said no serious discussions were held on Hudhud cyclone. He said that the Chief Minister abstained during the discussion and the ministers were unable to even give proper replies.
Srikanth Reddy said that the State Government failed to give any assurance to the farmers who committing suicide due to various reasons. (INN)
