Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned to meet on Friday following a furor over leakage of Class X question paper.
The AP Assembly witnessed heated arguments between the ruling party and the Opposition members on the issue. While the Opposition YSRCP members demanded cancellation of examination, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu rejected their demand saying that the issue should be dealt with cautiously as it involved future of students.
Jaganmohan Reddy also demanded removal of Minister Narayana from the cabinet and blacklisting his schools and colleges as their staff leaked the SSC examination paper on March 25. Reiterating his demand for a CBI inquiry into the paper leak, Jagan accused the government of shielding its minister despite the involvement of Narayana School employee in the leak. He also said the paper was leaked from a Narayana School center in Nellore on Whatsapp at 9.25am, five minutes before the start of the exam and Narayana Schools staff prepared answers for the questions and sent them back to their students writing the examination throughout the state.
Taking a dig at YSRCP leader Jagan, Chandrababu Naidu said the former has never written examinations and he doesn’t know the importance of examinations. In response, Leader of the Opposition Jagan said he stood first in Class X, Intermediate and degree examinations and also levelled counter allegations against Chandrababu Naidu about his studies.
