The speaker congratulated the MLAs on their victory and adjourned the House at around 0913 hrs for 15 minutes after disallowing all adjournment motions given notices by the TDP and TRS (on Telangana bill) and Left Parties and BJP (on SC, ST sub-plan funds issue).
Even as the House adjourned for 15 minutes, the Opposition members of TRS and TDP were seen sitting inside the well of the House when it reassembled around 1025 hrs.
Sensing the mood of the opposition TRS and TDP members, the Speaker adjourned the House for the day within five minutes immediately after adopting two bills – The Andhra Pradesh Excise and The Andhra Pradesh (regulation of Trade in Indian Made foreign liquor, Foreign liquor) Acts (Amendment) Bill 2012 and the Andhra Pradesh University of Law (Amendment) bill, 2011 (as passed by the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council with Amendments) amidst slogan shouting in the House
