AP appoints inquiry commitee on Rajatopuram collapse

Hyderabad, June 01: The Andhra Pradesh government has constituted a four-member committee to go into the collapse of five hundred year old Rajagopuram temple at Lord Srikalahastheeswaraswamy and goddess Gnanaprasoonambika on May 26.

The Panel Consists of Mr R Jagan Mohan, CE, Endowments, Member-Convenor, Mr S Narasimha Rao, Professor (retd) IIT, Chennai, member, Mr A Meher Prasad, Professor, IIT, Chennai, Member and C V R Murthy, Professor, IIT, Hyderabad, member.

The panel has been asked to submit the report by end of June 30, 2010, according to a statement.
