Anushka Sharma the actor-turned-producer has released the first trailer of her second production venture, titled ‘Phillauri’ starring Diljit Dosanjh who is made his debut in Bollywood with Udta Punjab and Suraj Sharma.

Apart from producing the film, Anushka also stars in it, as a ghost. Her first production ‘NH10,’ though did not do very well in the Box-Office, managed to receive critical acclamation.

Phillauri seems to be funny in the beginning. The 2:55 minutes trailer starts with Suraj Sharma who is declared as ‘Manglik’ and is forced to get married to a tree before marrying his fiancé. He then married to a tree after which the ghost claims that since she resides in the tree, Suraj had married her. At the end the trailer takes a u-turn when Suraj asks, the ghost if she has any remaining desire because of which she is lurking around. Then the story moves to a flashback to a different era where Anushka is seen to be in love with a singer Diljit Dosanjh. What went wrong forms the main crux of the story.

‘Phillauri’, is directed by Anshai Lal and produced by Clean Slate Films and Fox Star Studios. The film is going to hit the theaters on March 24.
