The negotiations to put an end to the agitation launched by Seema Andhra employees with the State subcommittee of Ministers failed and A.P.NGOs decided to continue their agitation till Center Govt. makes an announcement for the cancellation of separate Telangana State. Despite every possible effort of the Ministers to end the strike, the leaders of A.P. NGOs did not yield to change their stand. They got up from the meeting and came out. The cabinet subcommittee had invited the leaders of A.P.NGOs for negotiations to end their strike.
Mr. A.Ramnarayan Reddy, Mr. N.Raghuveera Reddy, Mr. P.Satya Narayana, Mr. K.Murali, Mr. Uttamkumar Reddy (ministers), and Dr. P.K. Mohanty, Chief Secretary attended the meeting along with other officials. The subcommittee of Ministers apprised the NGOs leaders about the inconvenience caused to public on account their agitation. The committee requested them to end their agitation. Mr. Murli Krishna told that the people of Seema Andhra are participating in agitation on their own.
