Washington, September 08: Dutch politician Geert Wilders, who was banned from Britain for his anti-Islamic views, plans to visit Australia.
Mr Wilders, 48, provoked outrage among Dutch Muslims when he branded Islam a violent religion, likened the Quran to Hitler’s Mein Kampf.
He was acquitted of five race-hate charges in June when the court ruled his comments offensive but legal.
The British banned Mr Wilders in 2009 but a tribunal upheld his appeal.
Mr Wilders is expected to visit late this year, or next year.
