Giving more teeth to the anti-corruption branch set up earlier this year to probe corruption charges against government employees, the West Bengal government today decided to give it the powers of a police station. “The decision to this effect was taken at a cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee,” a state secretariat source said.
