Anti-BJP Front: Naidu supports Mamata’s efforts, to visit Delhi on April 2

Hyderabad: In the wake of ensuing General Elections, CM of West Bengal, Ms. Mamata Banerjee is making an attempt to form an anti-BJP Front. There are reports that CM of A.P., Mr. Chandrababu Naidu supports the efforts of Ms. Mamata Banerjee. Mr. Naidu is likely to proceed to New Delhi on 2nd April. CM of TS, Mr. KCR is also planning to visit New Delhi in the first week of April to muster support for the formation of the Third Front.

It may be mentioned that TDP withdrew its support to NDA against the cold attitude of Central Govt. for not granting Special Status to AP. At the same time, TRS is also registering its protest in the Parliament demanding powers to be delegated to the States for providing reservations.

In this manner, heated political scenario could be witnessed in New Delhi next week.

Ms. Mamata Banerjee, during her visit to New Delhi, contacted Shiva Seena leaders and discussed the issues relating to the formation of Anti-BJP Front. She also met Mr. Yeshwant Sinha, Mr. Shatrughan Sinha and Mr. Arun Shouri.

It may be recalled that earlier, TDP President had played a key role in the formation of Anti-Congress Front. In the same manner, he may become successful again in the formation of anti-BJP Front in collaboration with Ms. Mamata Banerjee.

During his proposed visit to New Delhi, Mr. Naidu is likely to meet leaders of opposition parties.

There is a talk in political circles of New Delhi that situation rapidly changed soon after TDP disassociated from NDA. Now that both the Chief Ministers of Telugu States are likely to visit Delhi, political scenario may change.
