A 60-year-old woman, who was injured in an attack by some unidentified miscreant, succumbed at the Osmania General Hospital on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Yousuf Bi. She, along with another woman, 80-year-old Abbas Bi, was found lying in a pool of blood beneath Indira Nagar flyover bridge in Chandrayangutta police limits on October 8. Some unidentified persons had attempted to murder them by throwing boulder on their heads. They were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital where Abbas Bi died on October 9 while Yousuf Bi died today.
Chandrayangutta Police have registered a case of double murder and began investigations, according to Inspector Rama Rao. (INN)
