Hyderabad: Pista House all set to introduce a different variant of haleem this year. The ‘sweet haleem’ intended for children. The spices will be replaced by sugar and honey.
“We want to cater to all segments of society”, MA Majeed, CEO, Pista House, told presspersons on Saturday.
Pista House plans to serve the mouth-watering fare from 225 outlets across the GHMC limits. This time it will also be available in UAE and Oman.
Haleem will also be prepared and sold in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Vijayawada, Cuddapah and all districts of Telangana. Per plate cost will be Rs 160, as per a report by Telangana Today.
“We have to raise the price in view of the hike in the cost of ghee and other ingredients”, explains Majeed, who has tied up with the food delivery chain, Swiggy, to supply the yummy dish.
In a rare honour, the haleem maker is invited by the European Union’s International Corporation Department to take part in the Thailand food exhibition,’Thaifex 2017′ to be held in Bangkok from May 31 to June 5.
