Another shock to TDP: MLA Bala Nagi Reddy meets Jagan

In yet another indication of the success of YSR Congress party’s ‘Operation Akarsh’, Bala Nagi Reddy, TDP MLA from Mantralayam of Kurnool district, has met Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Lotus Pond residence on Sunday, before he left for CBI interrogation. Bala Nagi Reddy is likely to join the YSRC shortly, even as the TDP leaders were asserting that none of TDP MLAs would join Jagan party.

Prasanna Kumar Reddy and Bala Nagireddy were dissident MLAs of the TDP. While Prasanna Kumara Reddy got his resignation to the Assembly accepted and was reelected to the Assembly from his Kovuru constituency as the YSRC candidate, Bala Nagi Reddy has continued as TDP member so far. He was finally convinced by Prasanna and other YSRC leaders to join the Jagan bandwagon. Congress MLA Alla Nani also met Jagan for the third consecutive day on Sunday unmindful of the announcement of the Congress party that he would be issued a show cause notice for indiscipline on Monday.

Congress MP Sabbam Hari MLAs Alla Nani, Ranga Rao and others accompanied Jagan to the Dilkusha guest house where Jagan was to be questioned by the CBI. (NSS)
