Another Jagan aide suspended

Hyderabad, November 11: Another follower of Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy was suspended by the state Congress leadership. Following directions from the APCC disciplinary and screening committee, the Chittoor DCC chief today placed former TUDA chairman Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy under suspension for his anti-party activities in the district.

Meanwhile, it is learnt, the state Congress leadership has decided to suspend Nellore DCC president Yellasiri Gopal Reddy from the party for alleged violation of party guidelines. After formal announcement from the APCC, a new head for the district Congress party would be announced in three to four days.

It may be recalled that the APCC had twice issued show cause notices to the DCC president of Nellore for giving a call to the party cadre to participate in Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra in the district. The APCC has not invited him to the recent DCC presidents meeting at Gandhi Bhavan giving enough indication that the stage is all set for his suspension.

It is learnt that the APCC disciplinary committee met at Gandhi Bhavan here today, has decided to leave the issue relating to Bhaskar Reddy, to the Chittoor DCC by instructing the latter to take action against him.
