A Haj pilgrim from the Hyderabad city, Haji Manzoor Ahmed, died of heart attack in Holy Makkah Moazzama on Sunday morning.
He was 79 and was a resident of Balanagar. The funeral will take place on Monday in Haram Shareef of Makkah.
He had gone on pilgrimage along with his nephew on September 28 and was scheduled to return on November 3, 2014. On the instructions from Special Officer Telangana State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor, the Khadim-ul-Hujjaj present in Makkah and the Indian Haj Mission provided necessary assistance for fulfilling formalities.
So far, three Hajis, including one from Anantapur, have died in the KSA. Three other Hajis from the city returned before scheduled arrival on account of ill health. (INN)
