After a two-week foreign jaunt to attract investments from various business honchos and companies, Minister for Information and Technology KT Rama Rao is embarking on another overseas trip from June 3.
Talking to mediapersons here, Taraka Ramarao has disclosed that he will be touring Taiwan and Hong Kong to attract some more investors. “My next round of foreign trip will continue for four days till June 6. As the previous trip was fruitful, now the next trip will definitely fetch some more investments”, the minister said. “During the tour, our team would interact with noted companies and leading businessmen and invite them to establish their shops and expand existing ones”, he said.
As the TRS Government is coming up with an ambitious new industrial policy that will provide a hassle-free regime of transparent and corruption free services and allocation of all permissions in two weeks, there is ample scope for the foreign companies to rope in with huge investments, he hoped. He also said the TRS government wants to maintain friendly relations and abstain from having any quarrels with the Centre. The Centre is ought to extend equal and similar cooperation to all the States, he said, adding that Narendra Modi is Prime Minister for the entire country and not confined to any single State. (NSS)
