Islamabad [Pakistan]: Another activist has gone missing from Islamabad, days after four social media activists had also been declared missing.
Civil Progressive Alliance Pakistan (CPAP) President Samar Abbas is an activist based in Karachi who is affiliated to various forums that have been raising their voices against atrocities committed against minority groups in the country.
CPAP General Secretary Syed Talib Abbas said that Samar had gone to Islamabad for some business related to his IT firm.
“He was continuously in touch with his family, but on Saturday, his mobile phone was switched off. The family has not heard from him since,” the Dawn quoted Abbas, as saying.
He said an FIR will be lodged by Samar’s family over his disappearance. (ANI)
