Hyderabad, May 29, 2010: Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Hyderabad, an educational initiative by Anoo’s Salon and Clinical Services, today held its 4th Convocation Ceremony at Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Somajiguda at Hyderabad. The state of art educational arm of Anoo’s witnessed 70 of its graduating students, groomed and trained to be a beacon of answer to the industry’s much needed skilled technicians, being conferred their graduating certificates. Anoo’s International Beauty School was represented by its Directors Ms. Anuradha, Ms. Anupama and Mr. Abhishek.

Ms. Anupama, Director of Anoo’s in her address to the graduating students encouraged them to give their best even as they join different streams in the industry. They emphasized the need and demand being experienced by the ever growing beauty industry in India and wished them the very best as they go out to fill the gaps of the industry.
The graduating students received their certificates for various courses they pursued at AIBS like Advance Diploma in Cosmetology and International Diploma in Cosmetology, which are approximately 5 months to 1 1/2 year; to short term courses in Skin, Make up, Nail Art, Anoo’s signature treatments, Weight management, Basic and Advance Hair Course which range from 9 days to 6 1/2 months. There were also various awards given to outstanding students, Ms. Sulakshana won the ‘Best Student Award’ and Ms. Sandhya took away the ‘Best Overall Performance Award’.
Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Anuradha CH, Director of Anoo’s Beauty Salon and Clinic for Men and Women, said, “Today is a significant moment for all of us at AIBS. Every year as a large chunk of students are sent out well equipped with the needs of the industry, AIBS is proud to be the productive answer to the requirements of the beauty industry which is in dire need of professionally trained skilled personnel. As our trained students move out of their Academic training sphere and enter the professional world, we wish them all the very best and hope they will make us proud through their professionalism at their work place’.
The evening was a spectrum of delight as current students of AIBS enthralled their outgoing seniors and guests with lively performances. The highlight of the evening was the fashion show showcasing the creations, put together by the emerging fashion designer Ms. Anusha with designs from her clothesline” A bon“
aptly supported by students from AIBS in the hair and make-up segment. Ms. Anusha is the next generation of the Anoo’s family, who in her creative way has added a new dimension to Anoo’s Beauty and wellness industry forte.
All these mesmerizing performances were put together by the in-house talents of the school with the help and guidance of the Instructors.
The school offers 30 career-oriented courses for both men and women at Graduate and Under Graduate level with hands on experience and is an approved centre by City & Guilds, UK. Anoo’s is also in the process of getting Govt. recognition for some of the undergraduate courses. Anoo’s who in collaboration with JNTU has introduced India’s first and only Post Graduation course in Cosmetology (M. Sc. in Cosmetology), is on its way to produce its second batch of M.Sc students towards the end of 2010. The third batch of MSc. Cosmetology is presently in progress and admissions are now open for its 4th batch intake for the academic year 2010 -2012.
AIBS has till date trained over 425 students. Many of these students are part of an effective workforce of premium beauty product and services brands across India. Anoo’s has also absorbed a good number of them into its various branches. AIBS has truly lived up to its vision of polishing beauty and wellness talents and offering quality service providers to the beauty industry.
