As usual Minorities Students’ Organization, Osmania University is organizing Milad-un-Nabi Conference on 5th March, at 11:00 a.m. at ICSSR Hall, Central Library, Osmania University, under the chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Quader Faisal Chishti, former member of the Executive Council of Osmania University.
Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Secretary Minority Welfare Department, Mr. Ranjan Ratan Kumar, Addl. DCP, CCS, Mr. Iftekhar Shareef, Dr. Mohammed Mateenuddin Quadri, member of Telangana Public Service Commission, Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will be the chief guests. Prof. Naidu Ashok, Principal, Arts College, Dr. Kali Vinod Kumar, Principal PG College of Law, Prof. S A Rahman, Director University Press, Prof. Mohammed Mustafa Shareef, Prof. Mohammed Abdul Majeed Siddiqui, Prof. Ayesha Farooqui, Prof. Atiya Sultana, Dr. Ashfaq Chand, Prof. Syed Mohammed Tanveeruddin, Maulana Abdul Naseer Mazahari, Mr. Imtiyaz Husain, Mr. Mohammed Affan Quadri and Dr. S Yadgiri will be the guest of honour.
According to Prof. Mohammed Ansari, Head of the Dept. of Linguistics, OU who is the Convener of the Conference, the function will begin with the recitation of Quranic verses by Hafiz Shaikh Yaqoob Pasha. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Ali of the Dept. of Islamic Studies will give vote of thanks.
