A literary session is being held today, on October 17, at 6 pm at Numaish club, as part of the 2-day annual celebration of Zinda Dilan-e-Hyderabad. Noted humourist Padmashree Mujtaba Husain will preside over. Munawwar Peer Bhai and Begum Mumtaz Peer Bhai will be the chief guests. Mr. Fayyaz Ahmed Faizi, Dr. Haleema Firdouse (Bangalore), Dr. Farzana Farah (Bhatkal) Dr. Abbas Muttaqi, Dr. Mumtaz Mehdi and Mr. Hameed Adil will narrate humourous articles.
Mahfil-e-Lateefa Goi will be held on October 18, at 10:30 am, at Numaish club while the All India comedy Mushaira will be held on Saturday, October 18, at 6:30 pm, at Lalit Kala Thoranam, Public Garden. Entry for Mushaira will be through ticket, which can be collected from Hotel Faraz, Jama Masjid Mallepally, Link Travels, Quader Jewellers, Tolichowki and office of Shagufa Moazzam Jahi Market. Fortunate visitor will get a chance to win Umrah ticket offered by Kashish Group of Textiles.
