TRS Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao on Sunday demanded the Centre announce its decision on separate Telangana statehood demand by September 30.
Talking to media persons after expressing solidarity with Deeksha taken up by Joint Action committee members at Old Bus stand in Siddipet, Harish Rao said that the Centre has to honour its promise given to people of region by September 30 and take steps for fulfilling the dream of region people. He warned the Centre of serious consequences if it fails to respect the sentiments and aspirations of people.
Stating that the Centre would responsible for the dire consequences, Harish Rao said that the Congress party would be wiped out from the region if it fails to announce a decision in favour of the Telangana state. He said that TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao was making sincere efforts towards achieving the separate state. He said that no one could suspect the commitment of KCR towards Telangana.
