Secunderabad MP M Anjan Kumar Yadav on Saturday promised to make efforts to set up a medical college and new infrastructure at Chest and TB Hospital at Erragadda.
Speaking after donating a full-fledged ambulance to the hospital from his MP funds, Anjan Kumar said that he would make representations to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and also the Central Government seeking their assistance in getting better facilities for the patients in Chest and TB Hospital.
Earlier, Hospital Superintendant Dr Sai Kumar said that the proposal for upgradation of infrastructure and a new building for the hospital has been pending since a long time. He said that the poor patients were facing difficulties due to lack of adequate facilities in the hospital. He thanked the Secunderabad MP for the gesture of donating an ambulance. (INN)
