Anjan, Mukesh spar over Secunderabad seat

Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav on Wednesday warned Marketing Minister Mukesh Goud of serious consequences if he plans to contest from Secunderabad constituency without his prior approval.

Talking to media persons, Anjan made it clear that he would again contest in the next parliamentary elections from Secunderabad constituency only. Describing Secunderabad constituency as his home, he said that people from this constituency has sent him to Parliament twice. He alleged that Mukesh Goud’s mental condition was unstable as he has been talking about an election which would be held after two years.

Anjan Kumar asked the reporters whether Election Commission issued any notification for Musheerabad and Secunderabad constituencies which prompted Mukesh Goud to make this statement. “Who is Mukesh Goud to offer me a ticket from Musheerabad assembly segment?” he asked.

The Secunderabad MP alleged that Mukesh Goud had some secret understanding with senior TDP leader T Devender Goud to hit his political career.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Goud came down heavily on Anjan kumar Yadav for terming Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency as his ‘jagir.’ Reiterating that he would contest from Secunderabad parliament constituency in the next elections, Mukesh Goud said that constituency was not the ‘jagir’ of Anjan Kumar Yadav. However, he said that the final decision on candidature would be taken by the Congress high command. (INN)
