Mumbai, September 20: With the Ramjanmabhoomi case verdict to be delivered on September 24, Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala on Monday said he is postponing the release of his Priyanka Chopra-Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Anjaana Anjaani”.
Now, the movie would be released on October one.
The decision comes in the wake of the film’s lead pair, Ranbir and Priyanka opining that audiences may not go to theatres to watch the movie in view of the security concerns.
Talking to the media here today, Sajid said initially he was of the opinion that the release should be according to the schedule.
“There is no denying that the Ayodhya issue is a much bigger and needs its respect. Ranbir had addressed the issue with me and Eros and we gave it a thought.
