Reacting to the uproar in the social media over the atrocious remarks of TDP MP Ravindra Babu towards Army personnel recently, AP Chief Minister and TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his displeasure and directed his party MP to submit his explanation within 24 hours on the issue. He also made it clear that his party and the government have utmost respect towards the Army personnel and have nothing to do with the MP’s outbursts against them.
It may be mentioned here that the TDP MP Ravindra Babu had not only slammed retired Army Major Vijay in Parliament, but also made pungent remarks against Army men in general saying that they were joining the Defence force for the sake of free liquor, free meat and Leave Travel Facility. (NSS)
