Two government officials were today arrested by the ACB in Warangal and Adilabad districts of Andhra Pradesh in two separate bribery cases.
P Sadanandam, Assistant Engineer of Panchayat Raj Department working at Ghanpur of the district, was caught red-handed by ACB officials, while accepting Rs 15,000 bribe from the complainant for doing an official favour, an Anti
Corruption Bureau (ACB) release said here today.
The bribe amount was recovered from the accused and he was arrested, it said.
In another case, G Guruvaiah, an Excise Inspector in Bellampally of Adilabad district was trapped by ACB officials
when he allegedly took Rs 5,000 bribe from a complainant for doing an official favour, the release added.
