Convenor Majlis Bachao Tahreek Dr. Qayem Khan strongly protested against the power crisis in the state. He said in a statement that the inept government has landed the people nowhere. The Congress has transformed Andhra Pradesh into Andhera Pradesh and due to the incompetency of the government many small industries were shut down and large industries are heading towards other states. As a result lakhs of people have become jobless.
In spite of that the government pays no heed to the matter and has stringently continued its autocratic and heavy-handed policies. Since the Congress came to power in 2004 it raised prices of petrol, diesel, cooking gas and other necessary items on frequent intervals.
