Andhra MLA Jaleel Khan studied Maths, physics in B.Com

VIJAYAWADA: The TDP MLA from Vijayawada West constituency, Jaleel Khan lying about his educational credentials has gone viral on social media when he claimed that he studied Physics as part of the course for his BCom degree.

During an interview with iDream News. He was asked by the interviewer Nagaraj, what he studied during graduation.
The minister promptly replied. “BCom,” following which Nagaraj asks him if he was passionate towards commerce, or if he had any aspirations to become a chartered accountant.

He said.”Nothing like that. I was interested in Maths. I was interested in Physics. So, I took it.”

When Nagaraj tries to correct Mr. Khan saying mathematics and physics are not taught in BCom. The MLA insists they are.

Jaleel said. “It’s there. It’s there. Why won’t Physics be there in BCom? Commerce means accounts only no?”
He added.”That only is accounts… Maths means accounts only no… All that you mentioned now are correct, but even Physics will be there no?”

He ends by saying.”I used to get 100 marks in Maths since my childhood.”
Jaleel Khan was earlier a YSR Congress leader, who later switched over to the TDP.
