Vijayawada, January 04: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) members of Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts have appealed to the people to observe total bandh tomorrow in support of Samaikyandra voluntarily.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, JAC leaders of all parties including Koneru Ranga Rao, Kolanukonda Sivaji, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and others appealed to the managements of all educational institutions and business establishments to observe bandh tomorrow.
Meanwhile in Guntur district, political parties and student organisations called for a total bandh tomorrow in support of united Andhra Pradesh.
The Chamber of Commerce presidents of two districts have decided to extend support to the agitation by observing bandh tomorrow.
The political parties and student organisations formed special committees to monitor the bandh arrangements. They have decided to include some emergency services, if necessary.
Former MLA Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy of Prakasam district and Ambati Rambabu, Lella Appi Reddy of Congress party and Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, Prattipati Pulla Rao and M Venugopala Reddy of TDP of Guntur district are acting as coordinators to organise the bandh successfully.
