Despite formation of separate State of Telangana, some forces from Andhra are trying to stall the development of new State.
Participating in a Round Table conference on Section 8 held at the TNGOs Bhavan here on Sunday, TPJAC Chairman Prof. M Kodandaram said that the demand for imposition of Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act was part of a larger conspiracy hatches by Andhra leaders. He urged the Centre not to take any decision on the issue under pressure from Andhra Pradesh Government. He said that the people of Telangana would be forced be launch another agitation if the Centre handover Law and Order subject to the Governor in Hyderabad.
TNGOs Honorary President Devi Prasad alleged that the AP Government was attacking the Telangana on regular basis. He said that the AP Government wants to take control of Hyderabad through illegal and undemocratic means.
Other eminent personalities including Telugu film director Shankar also participated in the Round Table conference. (INN)
