Ancient Qutub Shahi mosque rehabilitated at Papi Reddy Guda

Officials and youth of Deccan Waqf properties protection society led by Osman bin Mohammad Alhajari reached an ancient Qutub Shahi mosque located at Papi Reddy Guda village of Shadnagar mandal to rehabilitate the mosque. When the caravan reached there the villagers looked them in amazement and thought that they have also come here in search of treasure as there is a relic near mosque where it is believed that treasures are buried beneath it.

When the non Muslim villagers are told that the caravan did not come in search of treasure but to restore the mosque they agreed to cooperate in the good deed and the influential personalities of the village Mr. Datatriya advocate and Mr. Mohammad Jahangir extended their cooperation for restoration of mosque.

The mosque is located on Keshampet road at a distance of 3 kilometer from Noor College of Education.

Officials and youth of society cleaned the mosque and offered Friday prayers. Mr. Osman bin Mohammad Alhajari thanked the state Waqf board for extending its support for restoration of old mosques.
