There is a magnificent masjid with the capacity of nearly 500 devotees at the foot of Golconda Fort which is uninhabited for years. The masjid is located at a short distance from Makki Darwaza Golconda Fort in the military area. It is hidden among bushes and trees. It must be recalled that Siasat has brought to light over 100 such uninhabited masajid and restored most of them.
The masjid is believed to be built in 1559; which means it is 455 year old. Since the area is under military control a delegation of Muslims should meet the high officials and make positive and effective representation regarding the masjid. After that restoration of masjid could be made possible. If we do not receive cooperation form the higher military officials then Muslims would have no way left but to knock the door of court.
