Anantapur: Two youths are reported as dead soon after consuming Sprite at a local hotel in Anantapur’s Hindupur town on Friday leaving another youth in critical condition.
According to initial reports, the youths identified as Pradeep, Siva and one other youth had consumed Sprite after entering a hotel only to experience severe abdominal pain as soon as they consumed the soft drink.
The youths were rushed to a nearby hospital but Pradeep and Siva were declared brought dead while the other youth is under critical condition, Hans said.
The Police have registered a case and are now investigating to find how the soft drinks got adulterated.
