Congress MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy here on Wednesday felt that Telangana draft Bill would not have come to the Assembly, if Samaikhyandhra agitation was launched six months back.
Speaking to the media persons, Vivekananda Reddy said the legislators from Seemandhra region should unitedly oppose the draft Telangana Bill in the Assembly. He attributed the arrival of draft Telangana Bill to the delay in launching the agitation for united Andhra Pradesh.
Anam regretted that senior leaders like Jaipal Reddy have been supporting the bifurcation of the State for their own political interests. (NSS)
