Anam lashes out at Babu, Jagan for issuing veiled threats

Hyderabad, June 01: Stating that there was no threat to the N Kiran Kumar Reddy government, Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy on Tuesday lashed out at both Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy for issuing veiled threats.
Mr Ramnarayan Reddy added that he was confident that all the Congress MLAs would support the Congress if a Trust Vote is introduced.

Talking to media persons at the Congress Legislature Party Office, the
Finance Minister stated that, “the Opposition has every right to introduce a No Trust Motion against the government. The government has majority and would defeat the Motion in the House. There is no problem to the government and it has the support of all Congress MLAs.”

The YSR Congress party president had challenged Mr Chandrababu Naidu to introduce the No Confidence Motion hoping that the government would fall and midterm elections would be forced, the Finance Minister stated.

“This will not be, as the government will continue its remaining tenure of three years successfully,” he added.

Responding to former chief minister Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy’s lodging a complaint with the High Command against the Chief Minister for his style of functioning, the Finance Minister said, “I will react only after getting complete information from him.”

He also denied that he had any differences with Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy over his style of functioning.

Earlier, the Minister felicitated his personal assistant and deputy director (Agriculture) Valluri Kasi Viswanath, who retired on Tuesday, at his office.
