Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Redddy began the exercise to draft the budget for the year 2013-14.
While majority of the ministers are busy with the regional issues and consultations and accusations, Reddy began the review of various departments for the budget allocations. He held a meeting the high officials of agriculture department and sought their views on the demands and allocations for the next financial year.
The annual exercise has gained importance with the regional feelings and the government drawing flak from various quarters, more so on the power crisis. (INN)
