The engine and two coaches of Amravati-Mumbai express train derailed on Thursday early morning, in the outskirts of Mumbai.
“The incident took place at around 4:50 am. No casualty has been reported because the speed of the train was below 15 kilometer per hour,” said Arunendra Kumar, the Chairman of Railway Board.
“Today morning two coaches and locomotive of Amravati- Mumbai express train got derailed . One coach has been restored, while the other coach will be brought back to the track by 11 am,” he confirmed.
Kumar also informed that the senior manger and rescue team have already reached the place.
