The government has sanctioned Rs. 50 lakh for carrying out various works at Makkah Masjid and Shahi Masjid, Public Garden. Principal Secretary Finance department Dr. Samba Siva Rao released the amount under unplanned budget by issuing GO RT 2954. The amount will be spent on setting up generators and maintenance of CCTV cameras.
The government had allotted 1.18 lakh however additional 51.18 lakh were sanctioned. With the release of Rs. 50 lakh further 1.18 lakh remain with the budget of the two masajid.
