State government has released Rs 8,21,25000 for implementation of various schemes of minority welfare. This budget has been released on Wednesday under the 3rd quarterly installment for the financial year 2012-13. Secretary Minority Welfare Dana Kishore issued GO RT 365 in this connection and released the budget for Daeratul Muarif, Urdu Academy and Minority Finance Corporation for implementation of schemes such as mass marriages.
Rs. 31 lakh 25 thousand have been released for Daeratul Muarif Osmania University, Rs. 12 lakh 50 thousand for Andhra Pradesh Urdu Academy for promotion of Urdu language and Rs 1 crore 21 lakh 25 thousand rupees for Urdu computer training and Rs 25 lakh have been released for mass marriages.
Rs 5 crore 31 lakh and 25 thousand have been released for Minority Finance Corporation as subsidy for schemes linked with banks.
